Better Sleep & Relaxation

Workshop, 5 hours

Better Sleep & Relaxation

Take the time to nourish your body, mind & spirit

Do you wish to enhance your life's quality with better sleep & relaxation and learn some meditation techniques? Relaxation is one of the most powerful, yet simple ways to support our self-healing, to soothe mind and body, to refresh, renew, revitalise, and rejuvenate.

This workshop also introduces you to Restorative Yoga & Meditation.

Learn about active and passive relaxation techniques and how restorative yoga can help you to relax, re-balance, restore good sleep and enhance your energy levels.

A deep guided relaxation of about 10 - 15 minutes will be part of the workshop as well. We will utilise Tibetan Bowl sounds and introduce other forms of sound healing and you will get to know some Marma points (Ayurvedic Acupressure points) for self-healing.

A rainbow of options for you to choose from, find what resonates most with you and what you feel will work best for you whenever needed...

We will explore a range of Meditation techniques and learn more about Meditation and why it is such a powerful tool if not THE best tool for stress release. You will learn some Yogic breathing and mindfulness techniques, and an easy application of Self Reiki. We will touch on how to use Aromatherapy with essential oils as a supportive and super effective way to calm the brain - the only means which simply by the way of smelling the scents has an effect on our brains immediately, directly and in the most beneficial way! Mudras (handpositions to regulate energy flow) and Mantras (Affirmations) which are both powerful healing tools in itself will be offered as well.

More details about the workshop

Thank you for the wonderful Mother's Day workshop, I felt so relaxed and supple when I came home and had the best night's sleep! I learnt so many invaluable tips and really appreciate you following up and sending through extra information on subjects helpful for me. It was a wonderful experience to share with my daughter which I would highly recommend.

Self-compassion is simply giving the same kindness to ourselves that we would give to others.

More Details about the Workshop

🌛   You will be introduced to 7 different restorative Yoga poses and you will find these as well as all other information in your comprehensive 30-page handout that accompanies the workshop.

🌛  It is recommended that you keep the whole day for yourself (and not rush off to another appointment after!), so you can make the most out of it for yourself and maximise the benefits by applying some of what you've discovered for the rest of your day - soothing yourself into a good night's sleep and laying the foundation for a new habit of self-care from now on!

🌛 An important part is learning to listen to our bodies, realising what our body needs at any given moment, starting to make self-compassion and self-care a priority ("You can't pour from an empty cup!") and treating ourselves with an attitude of gentle kindness - like we would treat a precious loved one - and we will greatly enhance our overall well-feeling and start to sleep better as well...

🌛  Please come in comfy clothing that allows you to move freely. You might even want to bring socks - it is super important to have warm feet when we want to relax being as comfortable as possible.

🌛  Please bring something you would like to have for a light lunch - crackers, dips & fruit will be provided as well as chlorine-free water & herbal teas.

A moment of self-compassion can change your entire day. .............................. A string of such moments can change the course of your life.
