Welcome to our holistic Yoga classes!

.Our holistic Yoga Theme Classes are like a mini retreat in your week! The 2-hour sessions include a good warm-up at the start (15 mins), the 'Yoga for the Mind' sequence (15 mins), Yoga practice (about 1 hour), a deep guided relaxation (10 mins) afterwards, and a guided meditation to finish it off beautifully (15 mins).

Make this act of love toward your body your daily practice! Thich Nhat Hanh recommends 30 minutes of relaxation for every day! Of course, you can also do just 5 or 10 minutes or whatever you can allow for your daily relaxation and tension release practice - anything is better than nothing! - but if you want the full benefit for your body, mind and soul make it a #1 priority to reserve 30 minutes every day for your relaxation!

It always starts with the body and the mind will follow. All the overthinking and the obsessively racing thoughts will calm down when the body calms down. And it is so easy to do: Breathing in, be aware of your body; breathing out, release all tension from your body. Breathing is the bridge between body and mind. No solution to any of your problems your mind is ruminating about and could potentially come up with, can be as effective as turning with conscious awareness to your breathing instead. As Albert Einstein said: "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it."

Bringing our conscious awareness to our breathing instead, flicks the switch to the genius mode of problem solving. Your thinking stops, tension can be released and then fresh inspirations from our intuition can flow in.

Healing can happen in this way: releasing tension form your body with each and every exhale and miraculously the mind will release tension simultaneously. It is as simple as it is beautiful. It probably is too simple for most people. As Paulo Coelho states: "It's very easy to be complicated but it's quite difficult to be simple."

Here is an exciting new 9-week course for you offering a holistic Yoga experience! This includes all basics you need to know about body, mind, and spirit, introducing you to 'The 8 Limbs of Yoga' and how this might be relevant for you.

We will be going slow and gentle, warming up properly, learning about Mantras, Mudras, and the Yogic path to freedom and self-realisation, then building foundations for our physical practice, giving you time, space, and individual attention for the best learning experience possible.
