Workshop: Let Your Heartfelt Intention Move You Forward
Make A Vow to yourself!
Sankalpa (Sanskrit: सङ्कल्प)
means an intention formed by the heart and mind - a solemn vow, determination, or will. A Sankalpa is a tool meant to harness the will and to focus and harmonize mind and body. Wikipedia
"The yoga tradition offers a refreshing alternative to the New Year’s resolution: the practice of Sankalpa, or resolve. A Sankalpa practice starts from the radical premise that you already are who you need to be to fulfil your life’s dharma. All you need to do is focus your mind, connect to your most heartfelt desires, and channel the divine energy within." Kelly McGonigal
The powerful practice of Sankalpa can be utilised whenever you feel the need to adjust your direction in life. Creating your Sankalpa means creating clarity for how to transform your dreams and visions into reality. In this workshop we focus on the five points highlighted in the quote by Kelly McGonigal as a preparation to find clarity for your Sankalpa, followed by recommended steps for how to make it reality.
Be yourself. There is something that you can do better than any other. Listen to the inward voice and bravely obey that. UNKNOWN
Over the course of the workshop your Sankalpa will reveal itself - it may need some modifications as you proceed but essentially what is relevant for you at this moment in time and how to move forward will reveal itself via inspirations and your intuition. Relax, enjoy being a witness to this process, and invite your intuition to send inspirations into your awareness... Anytime it can reveal a next step or another layer as part of your evolutionary process - this might already happen today over the course of our workshop, or maybe it might happen tomorrow, in a week's time, or in a month, maybe many months from now, or even later. Your Sankalpa might reveal itself in stages and it will evolve, but it’s underlying theme - your Dharma - very likely remains the same and stays recognizable to you as you proceed in gaining more and more clarity for your visions and develop your path of realizing your dreams and heartfelt desires.
The live online 4-hour Sankalpa Workshop is available on demand! There are a few dates set but they can be shifted to another week or month to meet your schedule. The 4-hour live online workshops include a tea break of about 20 minutes.
